The numbers Bisbee residents actually need, grouped by who really runs what. Services here are split across the City, a private water company, the county, the hospital, and the old mine's successor — so it's easy to call the wrong place. In a life-threatening emergency, always call 911 first.
Water vs. trash and sewer — not the same office
Your drinking water comes from Arizona Water Company, a private utility (520-432-5321) — not the City. Billing and water-service problems go to them. Sewer and trash are run by the City of Bisbee Public Works (520-432-6001). Calling City Hall about a water bill, or the water company about your trash, is the most common mix-up in town.
Yard soil and groundwater are handled by others
Mine-legacy yard-soil testing and replacement is run by Freeport-McMoRan, not the City — use their 24/7 community line. Groundwater monitoring is overseen by the state, ADEQ. Neither is a City service.
