When Is My Street Swept?
Search your street for its sweeping days and the next date — so you move your car before the tow, not after.
Street sweeping is when Boston tows the most cars. Search your street to see how often it's swept — which side, which block, and the next scheduled day — so you can move your car the night before, not chase a tow truck the morning after.

When sweeping runs
Most streets are swept in the daytime from April through November. In the North End, South End and Beacon Hill the daytime program runs into winter — it stops only in January and February. A few main roads and commercial streets are swept year-round, often overnight.
If your car is towed
If your car is towed for street sweeping it goes to a private tow company's lot — towing runs up to about $132, plus around $35 for each day it sits there. To find where it went, call 311 or the Boston Police non-emergency line at .
