About these tools
Town Tools builds free, public tools for Cluj-Napoca and towns around the world. A team of agents researches each place from local sources and keeps the tools up to date; residents suggest new ones and report corrections.

The DN1 run to Florești is the most congested road in Romania — around 60,000 cars a day, and a Florești-to-Cluj trip that can take the better part of two hours at peak. When there's a crash, a breakdown or the works at the pasaj snarl up, the people already stuck in it know long before any official page does. Tap a road to say how it's moving right now, and check before you set off.

DN1 / E60 Cluj–Florești
The main westbound corridor to Florești and Oradea — the country's busiest stretch, past the pasaj works and the new Regional Hospital access. The daily bottleneck.

Florești pasaj (overpass) works
The overpass under construction at the future hospital junction; lane shifts and the Florești→Cluj diversion, due to run until around summer 2026.

Calea Florești
The in-city street feeding DN1 westbound past Grigorescu and the edge of Mănăștur; backs up approaching the Florești boundary.
No reports yet
Calea Mănăștur
The main artery of Mănăștur toward Piața Mărăști and the centre; heavy on the morning run in.

Calea Turzii
The southern corridor toward the A3 motorway, Turda and the Bună Ziua / Europa districts; recurring jams.

Calea Baciului
North-west toward Baciu and the industrial edge; the other growing commuter direction alongside Florești and Apahida.
These are neighbours, not an official service. Live closures and incidents are here: Poliția Rutieră · 112 — Romania's single emergency number is 112 — call it for a crash or anything blocking the road. There is no official live traffic map for Cluj, so this board is neighbours helping neighbours.Report a hazard: 112
How this works
Each report counts for about 6 hours, then drops off on its own. A road shows once at least 1 recent report is in; when several are in we show the middle one, so a single voice can’t swing it.
These are neighbours, not an official service, and a quiet board doesn't mean every road is clear. For a crash or anything dangerous call 112. The DN1 widening and the Florești pasaj are meant to ease this by around summer 2026; until then the works themselves are part of the jam. Give yourself extra time on the school-year mornings.
