Dingle Bay and the Blasket Islands are one of the best places in Ireland to watch sea life. After Fungie the bottlenose dolphin disappeared in 2020, the harbour's boats turned to wildlife and sea-safari trips. The Blasket Islands are a protected area
The Blaskets are a designated Special Area of Conservation and Special Protection Area (Natura 2000), with internationally important colonies of storm petrels and Manx shearwaters. Those two nest in burrows and only come ashore at night, so they're rarely seen on a day trip. Keep your distance from breeding birds and from hauled-out seals.
