This shows the National Weather Service alerts in force for Carroll County right now, plus the wind in town. It is not an alert service — sign up for the official channels below.

A gentle breeze (about 11 km/h, gusts to 12), out of the north.
Strongest gusts forecast over the next 24 hours: about 30 km/h. Wind words follow the Beaufort scale. This is a weather model’s forecast for the hour, not a measurement — exposed ground above town will see more.
When a warning is in force
Runoff pours off the steep streets and Leatherwood Creek can overflow fast in heavy rain — North Main has flooded in past storms, which is why the town built its streets up on stone walls. Don't drive through water across a low road, even shallow-looking water.
