How this works
NWSC — the National Water & Sewerage Corporation — supplies Jinja from the Masese treatment plant. Both lines are toll-free and answered 24/7; the second is 0800 300 977. Report a supply failure, a leak or a billing problem here.
Jinja's piped water is treated at the Masese plant on the lakeshore and pumped up into the city. Those pumps run on the same grid as everything else, so a long power cut often takes the water with it — if the taps are dry, check the power board too. NWSC reported a Shs12bn project in 2026 to fit higher-capacity pumps at Masese.
