When the taps go dry in Kampala, it's often hard to tell whether it's just your line or a whole area on a planned interruption. Tap the area you're in to report dry taps, and see where else neighbours say the water is off right now.
NWSC is the one who can confirm and fix a fault — this board is neighbours confirming each other, so their line is always here too.
When the water is off, please don't drink from a well, spring or borehole without treating it: contaminated well and storm-drain water is how cholera spreads here — the 2019 Kabowa outbreak began exactly that way. Boil or treat water before you drink it.
These reports come from neighbours, not the water utility. Anyone can read the board; reporting dry taps takes a free account, which keeps it honest. A report clears itself after about 24 hours, so the board stays current on its own. When several people report the same area, it’s likely the whole area is dry — not just one tap.
