Maghrib here is taken a little after sunset, once the redness has left the eastern sky (about a 4-degree depression of the sun), following the Ja'fari method. This is why it falls a few minutes after the listed sunset.
These times follow the sun day by day. The start of each Islamic month — Ramadan, Muharram and the day of Ashura, the Eids — is announced by a religious authority once the new moon has been sighted, which this calendar does not predict. Watch your mosque or marja' for those dates.
These times use the widely-followed Ja'fari angles (Fajr 16°, Isha 14°). Some authorities use a slightly higher Fajr angle, which can move the dawn time by a few minutes. If your mosque publishes its own timetable, follow it.
