No birthing center in Lamoille County
Copley Hospital in Morrisville closed its birthing center on November 1, 2025. Babies are now delivered in Berlin (Central Vermont Medical Center, about 30 minutes) or Burlington (UVM Medical Center, about 45 minutes) — make a plan with your provider before your due date. Copley still runs a 24-hour emergency room, and its staff can handle an emergency delivery.
