Nobody routinely tests the beach water anymore
Public Health Sudbury & Districts ended routine beach water-quality testing in its 2025 budget, so city beaches no longer get regular E. coli sampling or the swimming-advisory signs that came with it. No posted advisory now means the water wasn't tested — not that it was tested and found safe. Use your judgement, especially in the days after heavy rain, and stay out of water that looks or smells off.
