All open subway and LRT lines are running
Open. The TTC has been removing slow zones between Sheppard West and St George, and says there are no planned subway or LRT closures until the end of June 2026, deliberately, for the World Cup.
Open. Its trains turn 30 this year — a $2.3-billion order for 70 new trains was placed in January 2026 (55 of them for Line 2), with deliveries starting around 2030.
Closed permanently since July 2023. Replacement buses run along the corridor; a dedicated busway on the old route is scheduled to open by the end of September 2026.
