Festivals & the cultural season
The main festivals and the cultural season, with verified 2026 dates and resident pricing where it exists.
The town's main cultural season, with the dates we could verify for 2026 and a note on resident pricing where it exists. Each entry links the page it was checked against. Where a date for 2026 could not be confirmed, the entry describes the usual season rather than naming a date.

Historic centre, Český Krumlov
The town's signature festival — a historical pageant set in the era of the Rožmberk family, with processions, a knights' tournament, a period market and fireworks; the 38th edition. Residents get cheaper tickets: a discounted resident price (200 CZK in the pre-sale, on showing ID or a Karta Krumlováka) was available from 16 April to 20 June 2026, and people with permanent residence inside the closed-off centre could collect free tickets at the Infocentrum from 1 June.
