Bin Day
Which bins go out, when — weekly FOGO and fortnightly rubbish and recycling, by collection area.
Hepburn Shire runs a weekly lime-green FOGO bin and fortnightly rubbish and recycling, which alternate. Your collection day depends on your area. The day is fixed; which fortnight your rubbish and recycling fall on depends on your address, so check the council lookup below for the exact week — we don't show dates we can't verify.
Choose your area
Not sure which area you’re in? The note under each one describes it.
Area A — Daylesford West
The western side of town. If you're unsure which side of the boundary you're on, the council's address lookup settles it.

Public holidays can shift collection
- Around public holidays, collection days can shift. The council publishes any changes on its waste pages and the bin calendars — check before you put bins out over a long weekend.
