Trains are on a special timetable
Since the November 2025 cyclone, trains run Badulla–Nanu Oya only, on a special timetable (resumed 20 June 2026). Through service to Kandy and Colombo is not expected back until the Rambukkana–Nanu Oya line is rebuilt, targeted for the end of 2026.
