The Inuvik Year
The fixtures of Inuvik's year in the order they come around — the Sunrise Festival, the Muskrat Jamboree, the June heavy-item pickup, the arts festival and the greenhouse season.
Inuvik's year swings between thirty days of polar night and fifty-six of midnight sun, and the calendar follows the light: a festival when the sun comes back, a spring carnival on the delta ice, an arts festival and a garden season under the midnight sun. These are the fixtures that come around every year — exact dates land on the organizers' pages closer to the day.
