Paying to park
Most of Reine is now a no-parking zone, and the village car parks are paid and enforced — you can be fined or towed for leaving a car on the roadside. Some machines take a bank card; others only take Vipps, a Norwegian phone-payment app most foreign visitors can't set up. Bring a card, and a little cash as backup. The Reine harbour lot is the surest one to pay by card.
