Recycling — banned from the trash
Vermont's Universal Recycling Law (Act 148) makes it illegal to throw these in the trash. Sort them into recycling.
Food scraps — banned from the trash
Food scraps have been banned from Vermont trash since July 2020. The Stowe drop-off takes them for composting through Lamoille Soil.
