What's open, restricted or closed in Pacific Rim's Long Beach Unit right now — trails, the campground, dog rules and passes — checked against Parks Canada's bulletins.
The Long Beach Unit is the stretch of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve between Tofino and Ucluelet: Long Beach itself, Green Point, the Kwisitis Visitor Centre and the trails and beaches between them. A park pass is required to park inside. Two standing legal orders apply in the unit: watching wildlife from less than 100 metres is prohibited (order of October 2025), and wolves frequent the beaches and trails (warning in effect since September 2025) — keep dogs leashed where they're allowed at all, and give seals and their pups space on shore (June 2026 advisory).
