A notice is not an eviction
Getting a notice does not mean you have to move out, and it is not an eviction. Only the Landlord and Tenant Board can evict you, and only after a hearing you can go to and speak at. If you stay past the date on the notice, your landlord has to apply to the Board and win first — they cannot change the locks or put your things out themselves.
