When the power goes out in a deep cold snap, the first question is always the same: is it just my place, or the whole neighbourhood? Tap your area if your power is out and see whether neighbours are reporting the same thing.
This is residents helping each other read the situation — it is not the utility. Always report the actual outage to your power company on the line below so they know to fix it.

How this works
ATCO Electric Yukon delivers power to most Whitehorse homes — report outages 24/7 to 1-800-661-0513 (or 867-633-7000 in Whitehorse) and check their current-outages page. A few customers are billed directly by Yukon Energy; if that's you, report to Yukon Energy at 1-800-676-2843. In a deep cold snap the grid can be strained — if you're asked to cut non-critical power, doing so helps avoid wider outages.
