Buoy 10 salmon season opens
1 August–7 September 2026 · Lower Columbia & the bar
The Buoy 10 sport-salmon fishery at the mouth of the Columbia opens August 1 and usually runs through Labor Day, filling launches, motels and the bar with hundreds of boats.
Open dates, quotas and closures are set each year by ODFW and can change mid-season — check the current regulations, and the Coast Guard bar report before crossing.
