These plates and permits don’t pay the meter:
A parking ticket is $25 if you pay within 60 days, and more after that. You can pay or ask about a ticket through the town’s bylaw enforcement office.
In winter
There are no winter meter fees — December, January and February are free. But when it snows, don’t park where you block the plows: under the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act the town can ticket and tow vehicles in the way of snow clearing.
