Power cuts: how the queues work
How the scheduled outage queues (черги) work in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, how to find yours, and where the day's schedule is posted.
How the scheduled power cuts work in Yaremche and where to look up your queue — this page explains the system and links the official lookup at https://svitlo.oe.if.ua/; it does not show live schedules.
Why does the power go off on a schedule?
Hourly outage schedules (графіки погодинних вимкнень, hrafiky pohodynnykh vymknen) returned for household customers across Ivano-Frankivsk oblast on 1 July 2026. Prykarpattiaoblenergo, the region's grid operator, switches groups of customers off in turns when the national grid is short of power. In the first days the cuts fell in the evening, roughly 17:00–22:00, an hour or two per queue.
What is a cherha (черга) and a pidcherha (підчерга)?
Every address belongs to one of 6 queues (черги, cherhy), and each queue is split into two sub-queues (підчерги, pidcherhy) — 1.1, 1.2 and so on up to 6.2, twelve groups in all. The day's schedule says which sub-queues are off at which hours. Your queue doesn't change from day to day; the hours do.
How do I find my queue?
Enter your address or your account number (особовий рахунок, osobovyi rakhunok) at https://svitlo.oe.if.ua/ — Prykarpattiaoblenergo's lookup. Your queue number is also printed in the schedule PDFs the company publishes.
Where is today's schedule?
Prykarpattiaoblenergo posts the day's schedule at https://svitlo.oe.if.ua/, and it is reposted by regional news (kurs.if.ua) and local channels like the «Моє Яремче» (Moie Yaremche) Telegram channel.
Schedules can change during the day when the grid situation changes — the latest post wins.
Does a power cut affect water?
It can. Yaremche's water utility (vodokanal) announces supply interruptions through its Telegram and Viber bots — linked from https://www.yaremchevodokanal.if.ua/ — and on the city council site. After the June 2020 flood destroyed the main pipeline, the town knows water announcements matter: keep some water stored during long outage days.
Who do I call if the power doesn't come back when the schedule says?
Prykarpattiaoblenergo's contact channels are listed on its site, oe.if.ua. If wires are down or something is sparking, treat it as an emergency: call 101 or 112.
